Kenneth graduated from Arizona State University in 1974, where he studied
with Eric Kronengold, Jack Stuler, and James Sandal. During his time in Arizona he also had the opportunities to meet and be influenced by the work of Ansel Adams, Minor White, Wynn Bullock, Jack Welpott, and Ralph Gibson.
Photographers whose work influenced him in those early days included Harry Callahan, Fredrick Sommer, Walker Evans, Henri Cartier Bresson, and of course Edward Weston.
He has produced fine art prints and exhibited since the mid seventies, while doing other commercial type photography work in Arizona, Florida, Oregon, Chicago, and now back to Florida again. His present home and studio is on Amelia Island, located on the Atlantic Ocean on the furthermost north border of Florida, in the quaint Victorian seaport town of Fernandina Beach.
From 1980 - 1998 he was the staff photographer at the Newberry Library in Chicago, where he photographed rare and valuable museum items as well as a variety of commercial work in Chicago.
Since 1999 he has concentrated on weddings and various types of portraits, while printing and organizing his fine art backlog and trying to cope with the advent of digital photography.
